How to convert your Facebook/Instagram page into a Business page

Verifying Your Instagram Professional Account is Linked to a Facebook Business Page

which is required for archiving:

1. As the Facebook Business Page administrator, log in to Facebook.
2. In the left navigation pane, click Pages.

   
   

   
   
   
3. To switch to the Facebook Business Page account:
   1. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon.
   2. Click the switch icon.

      
      

      
      
      
4. In the left pane under Manage Page, click Meta Business Suite.

   
   

   
   
   
5. In the left pane, click All tools.
   
   
   
   
6. Under Manage, click Page Settings.  

   
   

   
   
   
7.  Click Linked Accounts
8.  Under Linked accounts, click Instagram.
   

Identifying Facebook Business Page Information

For each Instagram Professional Account being archived, you must provide the following details of the connected Facebook Business Page to your Global Relay Implementation engineer:

• A start date for archiving to begin. Communicate this date to your Global Relay Implementation engineer.

• The company email address of the page’s administrator

• To identify people with administrative access to the page, see Identifying Administrator Access to the Facebook Business Page.

• The Page ID. For details on how to find the page ID, see Locating Your Facebook Business Page ID.

Identifying Administrator Access to the Facebook Business Page

The following steps are for the new Facebook Pages experience.

1. As the Facebook Business Page administrator, log in to Facebook.

2. From the left navigation pane, click Pages

   
   

   

   
   

3. To switch to the Facebook Business Page account:

   1. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon.

   2. Click the switch icon.

      
      

      

      
      

4. In the left pane under Manage Page, click Meta Business Suite.

   
   

   

   
   

5. In the left pane, click All tools.

   
   

   

   
   

6. Under Manage, click Page Settings.

   
   

   
   
   

7. Click New Pages experience.

Locating Your Facebook Business Page ID

1. Log in to your Facebook Business Page, i.e. www.facebook.com/<yourpage>

2. In the same web browser, open a new tab, and paste the following URL:https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings/business_assets. 

   1. A list of your Facebook and Instagram Business Pages displays

      
      

      

      
      

3. Click the relevant Facebook Business Page. 

   1. Under Summary, the Page ID displays.

      
      

      

Tip: Alternatively, you can use a third-party website

1. Go to https://randomtools.io or https://lookup-id.com.

2. Copy your Facebook Business Page URL, i.e. www.facebook.com/<yourpage>, paste it in the text field, and press Enter The page ID displays
