Why am I not receiving emails

If you're not receiving emails, it can be frustrating and confusing. Here are some possible reasons why you're not receiving emails and what you can do to fix the issue:


  1. If you can't send or receive email, check your account: update your password if it's been changed recently. Your account might also be temporarily blocked because we noticed some unusual sign-in activity.

  2. Check your spam folder: Sometimes, emails can end up in your spam folder. Check your spam folder and mark any legitimate emails as "not spam."
  3. Check your email filters: If you have set up email filters, make sure they are not blocking any legitimate emails. You can check your filters in your email settings.
  4. Check your email forwarding: If you have set up email forwarding, make sure it is working properly. You can check your email forwarding settings in your email settings.
  5. Check your email storage: If your email storage is full, you may not be able to receive new emails. Delete any old or unnecessary emails to free up space.
  6. Check your internet connection: If your internet connection is slow or unstable, you may not be able to receive new emails. Check your internet connection and try again.
  7. If an email or attachment is too large, you cannot send emails
  8. Check other tabs or screens for error messages preventing you from sending


Simple alternative fixes:
- Close out and reopen Outlook.
- Restart your computer.
- Dismiss any warnings.
- Check Microsoft Exchange Status in the lower right corner
- Reset your outlook/Microsoft password.
