A Guide on creating new accounts in Docupace
Step 1.
On the home page of Docupace, Click New in the top right.
Click Starting Point
Step 2.
- Select your rep code
If you only have access to one rep code linked to this account then you can skip this step as it will automatically choose that rep code
Step 3.
Select whether you want do a new account or account maintenance (If you are Advisory your Tile for New account will say “CPR” )
Step 4.
- Choose whether it is a New, existing, or a multitude of clients.
- If the client is new you will have to create a client folder.
- If you choose existing you will need to find the client.
- Multiple clients will allow for both new and existing clients if needed.
- If adding multiple clients, add in the clients then click Complete
- For a New Client, Click on New Client
Step 5.
- Enter in Client info (Name, Address, TIN/SSN, Phone, etc)
- Once all information click Save in the top right Corner
Step 6.
- Select your desired vendor
Step 7.
- Select the State your Client is located in.
Step 8.
- After picking the clients state you will next come to the “Review summary before creating Work Item” page.
- This will show you here the required forms as well as every bit of information entered thus far in the history column on the right.
- Required forms show the forms from the form library that are going to pull into the work item.
- Optional forms show the popular forms chosen with the work flow path you have selected. Hit create work item to save your work.
- If everything looks correct, Click Create Work Item
You can view your current history in the right pane labeled History
Step 9.
Once you get to the page below you will know that you have created a work item.
- A new work item should say Pending Advisor Review at the top of the page and should also be issued a Work Item #.
- This work item # is a 6-digit code and is useful in identifying your specific work item.
You work item will be saved in your dashboard under Pending advisor review until it gets sent out for signature or review
Step 10.
To edit the documents, click on the form you want to work on under work item client documents
From there you should be able to edit the form on the right, so long as it is a fillable form (all forms that come from our own form Library are fillable)
You can click the red boxes to bring you to the areas of the form you need to complete.
> You can get away with not filing in information for some red boxes.
> If the red box does not apply to the business you are doing then don’t worry about it but be careful and make sure you review the box before skipping over itThe yellow boxes are optional.
Once your edits are made, Click Save
Done
- You have now created a new account and edited a form
