- Select where the contribution is coming from
- Click Next
- Select the retirement account to receive the contribution

- If still eligible to contribute for the prior year based on the tax filing deadline, Select contribution year

Step 1 - Transfer/Withdraw Money
- In the top right corner click Menu
- Under Service, click Transfer/Withdraw Money
Step 2A - Nonretirement Accounts
Transfer funds between brokerage accounts
- Select the account to transfer funds from
- Click Next
- Select the brokerage account to receive the funds
- Enter the dollar amount to transfer.
- Click Verify.
- Review before authorizing the transfer.
- If changes are needed, select Edit to return to the transfer window.
- If no changes are needed, select Submit. A Confirmation displays transfer details including the confirmation number.
Transfer funds to or from a bank account
To transfer funds to or from a bank account, the customer must have established standing instructions.
- Select the brokerage account or bank account that holds the funds to disburse
- Click Next, if available
- Select the destination or account to receive the funds
- If you're using first-party EFT or IBP, you'll need to select the bank that will receive the transfer. Keep in mind that only approved and pending standing instructions will be displayed, so you won't be able to select any other standing instructions . )
- Enter the dollar amount to transfer. Limitations apply, refer to Help for details
- Click Verify
- Review before authorizing the transfer.
- If changes are needed, select Edit to return to the transfer window.
- If no changes are needed, select Submit. A Confirmation displays transfer details including the confirmation number.
Request a check disbursement
- Select the brokerage account to transfer funds from
- Click Next
- Select a mailing address
- Enter dollar amount of the check
- Click Verify
- Review before authorizing the disbursement
- If changes are needed, select Edit to return to the transfer window.
- If no changes are needed, select Submit. A Confirmation displays transfer details including the confirmation number.
Step 2B. - Retirement Accounts
Contribute to a retirement account
Select where the contribution is coming from
Click Next
Select the retirement account to receive the contribution
Enter the dollar amount of the contribution
If still eligible to contribute for the prior year based on the tax filing deadline, Select contribution year
Click Verify
- Review before authorizing the disbursement
- If changes are needed, select Edit to return to the transfer window.
- If no changes are needed, select Submit. A Confirmation displays transfer details including the confirmation number.
Distribute funds from a retirement account
- Select the retirement brokerage account to transfer funds from
- Click Next
- Select where to disburse the funds to
- Choose reason for distribution
- If you or your client is over 59.5 years old, the default reason is normal
- Enter the dollar amount
- Click Next
- Specify federal and state tax withholding.
- To acknowledge you have reviewed and agree to the tax withholding instructions entered, Click I Agree
- Click Next, Review before authorizing the disbursement
- If changes are needed, select Edit to return to the transfer window.
- If no changes are needed, select Submit. A Confirmation displays transfer details including the confirmation number.
